PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD & ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLY DESIGN
Phase Lead Engineering designs printed circuit boards, starting from your specifications. We pride ourselves on providing readable schematics, neatly laid out PCBs, and comprehensive sets of CAD deliverables. We can use our in-house Altium flow, your system via TeamViewer, or another arrangement. Our internal EDA library is database driven, reducing data-entry errors and allowing fast, thorough part data updates and corrections. Our standard footprints are made to the IPC-7351C draft. Beyond PCBs, we can design electronic assemblies including cabling and interconnects.
ELECTRONICS PROTOTYPING
We work with a wide range of suppliers to develop prototypes for your printed circuit board or electronics assembly.
TESTING AND TROUBLESHOOTING
We will create and execute a test plan for your electronics. We have a wide variety of test equipment and rent specialized tools as needed. We can help bring-up new designs, verify specifications, or diagnose failures.
CONSULTING
We offer wide ranging electrical engineering consulting, from feasibility to failure analysis. We can provide services remotely or travel to your site.

JOHN RANSON, P.E.
President and Principal Engineer
Mr. Ranson has worked on products from datacenter networking hardware, to laptop power supplies, to mass spectrometers. He received his SB and MEng degrees in electrical engineering from MIT. His design specialty is power electronics with an emphasis on high-frequency switching converters.
